DOMAINE FL - AOP SAVENNIERES
The vineyard of Domaine FL ( Fournier- Longchamps ) extends over 30 hectares , on both sides of the Loire river, on a land hosting vineyards since the twelfth century . A terroir where Chenin Blanc , historical grape in the Anjou is King!
Its complexity and excellent aging always give it a special status . It is from that single grape variety and with the same requirement as the Domaine FL shapes dry white wines , soft and sweet , in Savennières appellation , Savennières -Roches -aux- Moines, Savennières , Coteaux du Layon , Quarts de Chaume, and Anjou .
Another varietal, cabernet franc , typical from Anjou, is also grown for the production of beautiful red Anjou at the estate.
