AOP LANGUEDOC - COTES DE THONGUE
The Deshenrys Estate belongs to the Bouchard family for more than five generations.
In 1911, the wine from Deshenrys Estate has been awarded at the International Wine Fair of Turin. The estate lays over a large variety of soils and climates. It extends over 53 hectares in Cotes de Thongue and 2 hectares in AOP Coteaux du Languedoc.
Thirteen varietals are grown on the estate, each varietal has been selected for being suitable for the type of soil.
DESHENRYS RED : SYRAH & MERLOT
WINEMAKING : Destemming is followed by a relatively short alcoholic fermentation in order to capture the primary flavors.
AGEING : Matured in concrete vats and bottled at the end of the winter.
COLOR : Ruby red with bright hues.
NOSE : Beautifully complex it contains notes of fresh red fruits.
PALLATE : This full body dry wine is generous and fresh. A perfect easy-drinking wine.
